Live Tutoring

Tutoring Experience:
A tutor will come to your house and have the lesson in your home. We generally set up weekly appointments, so the lesson will take place at the same time every week. This keeps helps create healthy routines for your children.

The Benefits:
Your child will have a personalised lesson and receive 100% of the teachers attention. The student can receive the help and support that maybe missing in a busy classroom. This takes the pressure off you as a parent, you can enjoy some quality time with your child in the evening instead of struggling through stressful homework tasks.

What will my child learn:
Live tutoring is very personal and flexible. Every lesson will be a bit different. Lessons can be a combination of homework help, revising what they learnt at school, preparing for tests, completing extension tasks or catching up missed work.

Fees:
€35-€60 per hour depending on location and educational level. Fees will be agreed with MT before the lesson starts. There are also discounts for large bookings.

What are the benefits?
Online lessons can be held despite COVID restrictions meaning less disruption for your child’s education. Most students are familiar with video conferencing technology and use online applications everyday at school like MyiMaths, MathsPad, Google Classroom or ManageBac and so classes can be held effortlessly online. Online lessons also allow more flexibility as they can be done anywhere, this is especially great for student athletes that compete a lot or families that like to travel.

Tuition Fees:
Online lessons can cost between €25-€65, depending on the course being taught. Contact us to enquire about costs and availability.

Which online platform do you use? :
It depends on the tutor. Our tutors use Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. If you have a preference, let us know!

Online Tools Details:
Work can be sent via an email attachment or a link before the lesson. Please send this in advance so we can make sure that we are prepared for the lesson.

Can I have a recording of the lesson:
Yes, Zoom offers this feature. Please request this when making a booking.
